Why Azerbaijan Should Be Your Next Holiday Destination?
Azerbaijan is one of my favorite travel destinations and I have visited this amazing place a couple of times! A fast-growing tourism holiday destination particularly for Indians and GCC residents.
Some of the top reasons why visit Azerbaijan; rich cultural history, dramatic Caucasus mountain views, heritage churches of remarkable artistry and modern city life. Indeed, a hidden gem where Europe and Asia meet in the most fascinating way.
Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, has a marvelous architecture – a blend of East and West. Situated on the Caspian coast, Baku is a modern city with a touch of medieval charm. It offers a little glimpse of Europe, Asia and the Middle East. No wonder, Baku is the most visited city in Azerbaijan.
One of my favorite things about visiting Azerbaijan is exploring its local villages. Many villages still practice centuries-old customs, from carpet weaving and copper craftsmanship to baking tandir bread. Villages in Azerbaijan showcase the real local life and let you experience how to be a local as the villagers often welcome visitors with open arms, offering homemade jam, fresh tea, and even meals. Away from city noise, villages provide me a chance to disconnect, breathe in mountain air, and enjoy simplicity.
Azerbaijan tourism has so much to offer to every visitor, whether you’re a backpacker staying in hostels or a high-end traveler booking in five-star hotels, Azerbaijan got you covered.
